About Larney:

Larney is a psychologist and one of the proud owners of Inner Light Allied Health. With over 10 years of experience working with neurodiverse individuals, she has developed a deep passion for supporting this community, particularly neurodivergent females and those with PDA profiles. Larney believes in a client-centred, neuro-affirming approach to therapy, utilising evidence-based methods such as ACT, DBT, and CBT. Her work spans across the lifespan, with a special focus on helping children, adolescents, and adults achieve their personal goals through a person-centred approach. Larney brings her beloved therapy dog, Mako, to sessions. Mako is a 3-year-old Groodle, full of love, energy, and an endless appetite for treats and cuddles. Together, they aim to create a warm, supportive environment both in the clinic and within the community. Beyond therapy, Larney has extensive experience in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism, PDA profiles, ADHD, and other behavioural, emotional, and cognitive concerns. In addition to therapy and assessments, Larney has a passion for running social emotional groups focusing on Dungeon’s and Dragon’s. Larney believes the best way to connect and learn is through special interests and real life settings. Larney is dedicated to supporting individuals and families with the compassion and expertise needed to navigate life’s challenges.
